Positive behaviour and attendance are essential foundations for a creative and effective learning and teaching environment in which all members of the school community can thrive and fell respected, safe and secure.

In March 2006, the Minister for Education, Lifelong Learning and Skills, made a commitment to undertake a national review of behaviour and attendance to support existing activity and to shape and develop the future approach to these challenging issues.

The review is intended to produce a true picture of the situation in Wales, collect and review good practice in tackling attendance and behaviour issues and produce clear recommendations to take this work forward.  You can find out more about the areas the review will look at in Our aims.

The review will be taken forward by a steering group made up of representatives of key stakeholders from across Wales.  You can find out more about the make up of the group in Who we are.

So, how can you get involved?
The aim of the website is to give you the chance to tell us what you really think about the areas being looked at as part of the review. You can tell us about your experiences and views and find out what other people are talking about by going to How to get involved.
